Oil cooler change....Part Numbers....
« on: 25 March 2007, 20:57:29 »

Looks like I may need to do an oil cooler change in the near future - coolant level is dropping from max-min over a period of about 3 months and has a mayo like film on top.

Anyone got a list of part numbers, and approximate costs (TC / non-TC) so I can start figuring  out how much I'm gonna have to pay to get the bits?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Oil-Cooler-Cavalier-Vectra-Omega-Sintra-Signum_W0QQitemZ200074437272QQcategoryZ10404QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

This is where i bought mine from and as cheap as you will get it......

Thanks for the quick replies folks.

Guess while I've got the system drained I could also replace the Heater Bypass Valve at the back of the bay - gonna have the car a while and it's rolled over the 100k miles so it's just gonna be a matter of time I guess.

Any part numbers for this around?

Chrs
