there is a mod on the new ones that ment you had to solder wires to existing loom, which is what I guess is taped up on your wir'ing loom. You can take this tape off to see if it has been soldered or just twisted, thay should be soldered. omegalyn.

Just checked the joint and the wires were crimped, but with a slight pull the wires came out of the crimps ao I have soldered them together. I'll see if that cures the fault, if not I'll order a new cam sensor off eBay.
