top mount bearings
« on: 30 May 2007, 13:14:57 »

Any ideas on sourcing front top mount bearings for a '94 2.5td ?  I have a sinking feeling it's gonna be a Main Steeler only.

Is it worth taking them off and lubing them or is it a case of when they start sticking it's a replacement only issue ?

Just spoke to Ian @ Autovaux.  Top mount and bearings, both sides in stock
with a next day delivery (even tho' it's well past 4pm !! ) for about £75.
Gonna check if I need the rubber top mounts tonight cos the bearings are less than a tenner each.
Thanx
