hi people, anyone DIY changed thier clutch before? is it any easy one, i'm asuming it is and trans engines are usually easier to work on. but any tips would be great!

Straight forward RWD change if you are reasonably competant on the spanners.
The CofG of the box is about 2/3 back from the bellhousing which is where you need to put your trolley jack.
Get a LuK 3 piece kit from Autovaux etc. You may be able to mackle up some sort of alignment tool but I find that there is enough room to do it by eye.
When bleeding the clutch you might have problems getting all the air out, if this happens then modify an Easi-bleed to push fluid in through the nipple. (partly empty the reservoir first !!)

thanks for that. anyone tried different clutches as im looking at upping the BHP very soon. Cheers
