Sidelight problem
« on: 11 September 2007, 13:11:01 »

My drivers side sidelight doesn't work. Works on full beam but not dipped. Have tried 3 different, known working bulbs, still no sidelight. There is no check bulb coming up on the MID either.

All the connections look intact and good.  Any ideas anybody?

I is confused  ....  :-/

Is it the side light or the dipped headlight that is not working ???  They are TOTALLY different bulbs in different places !! (about 2 inches apart !! )

The inner bulb, which is dip and main or the knob turned to 1st position.

Still making no sense to me :(  I must be being thick today ..

On my mini-face lift with HID there are 2 bulbs there .. the side light bulb and the main beam bulb, the dipped lights are the HID projectors, so 3 bulbs in all,  side, dipped, main beam, all work when on main beam ... 2 work on dipped beam, only sidelight bulb at first position of switch, second position is main lights ?

No, it was me being thick, Sorry. I just found the smaller bulb next to the main beam bulb. It is out and ready for changing.

Sorry everyone, I should have looked more closely.
