Sincere congrats on a good job, well done.....   :y  Plus, you have the added advantage of knowing that the timing is spot on and the job done to your personal satisfaction.

Small thing though....  When you find 5 minutes, could you possibly fill in the details of your car and location in the personal profile so that it shows with each post you make?  No probs with wanting to stay as Mr Annon E. Mouse from wherever, it justs is seen to make this place more of the community that it already is.

Don't be shy to boast of how you managed to achieve your success either.  If you fancy doing so, how about a howtoo?  Have a look at some of the ones here already and have a bash at composing one for your particular 3.2 seeing as it has problems of its own that you overcome.  Could be a point of reference for others to come.   ;)

Well done, that man! :y :y

As you know, I had huge problems getting my 2.6 belt done during the summer. I think that, oddly, you're relative inexperience was an advantage. By that, I mean that, having done a 2.5 in the past, I was trying to adapt the old method to the new setup and that was one of the reasons I had so many problems. Incidentally, how did you get the non-adjustable roller on? Did you put it on last and did you use the 10 degree BTDC to get the tension on the right-hand bank?

once the belt was round all the pulleys the G1 roller should just slip into place..ie there should be no tension on it at all until you start tensioning up. I printed off the instructions but ill post up here with the pics but it wont be for a while as im back offshore tomorrow morning. Oh and yeah i did have to retard 10degrees btdc.
