Wiper Problems
« on: 17 September 2007, 13:38:17 »

I am currently having a problem with my wipers. They are stopping half way on the window after use. When you switch them on they then go down then up again (if that makes sense), i have changed the relay but this has not worked. Does anyone have any ideas this is on a 2.5 V6 M reg.

Many Thanks

It could be the control stalk on the steering colum, so if you can try a replacement and see if that cures the problem.

I think there is usually a micro switch in the wiper motor which activates the park function when the wipers are switched off, keeping power to the motor till the wipers are in the park position. Sounds like this may be faulty.
