Mantzal Power resonator
« on: 03 October 2007, 21:50:06 »

Seen this on the gallery section. It says it does away with all the multiram stuff.

I that right? , also , is it a worthwhile mod?

And would it do away with the maf?

If the MAF is not present the ecu will not know how to fuel the engine so i guess that the MAF is incoporated into the new set up. :-?

The front multiram is there for a good reason. It forms a resonant system at low to mid RPM and helps the engine breathe in this region. Doing away with it would perhaps give you better power at maximum RPM but lower RPM flexibility would suffer. As to whether it'd make the car faster overall I'd say it's doubtful.  :-/

For road driving the torque available at low RPM is important.
