I Cant find the star wheel adguster for the drivers side handbrake. I thought is was at about 11 or 1oclock but all I can see is a spring I think.

If you turn the rear disc so that the access hole is just past 12 oclock towards the front of the car, irrespective of whichever side you are on, you should be able to see in with the use of a good torch.  Its very difficult to look, hold the torch and hold the screwdriver at the same time.  The job is just done by feel.....

The adjuster is at 12 oclock, as in this image, easier seen when the disc is removed.   :y

Hi, I found the easiest way to do this was to remove the disc, then adjust the star wheel until the disc was just tight going back on. Worked o.k. for me and a lot quicker.

I cannot recall which way to turn it.  If you turn it until the disc cannot be turned, then you have moved it the wrong way, so do the opposite!!   ;D
