« on: 14 October 2007, 17:57:06 »

Any one have a clue on this one?

Bought the omega dismantled. (never again)

I have it built bakc up, but have noe spark, chased my back end a little to find it and now suspect the cam pick up.

does anyone know the resistance of the pick up when  not connected?

Cheers Guys

I think the cam sensors are (3 wire type) have some electronics embedded in them so not a straightforward thing to test off the car.

Forget the cam sensor, it will run with this faulty but have a 4K rpm limit.

It only provides cylinder firing order (you cant get that from crank).
