Main beam bulb

Hi

I am new to the forum so HI just a quick question, how does the main beam bulb on a 98 2.5 CD release from the headlight unit? cant quite work out if it needs the three pins pushing down or what.

Seem to recall, the top clips press together, and hinge on the lower clip.  Std H1/H7 type really IIRC

Thanks, but the H7 seem to have no hinge clips only 3 tags for want of a better description, any ideas?

Just changed a bulb on mine so i know this one. It is just held in by spring pressure if you pull it up it should pop out of the bottom springs and then come out easily and the new one just pushes back in.
Near impossible to just pull it out.
