heater problem
« on: 21 October 2007, 13:55:33 »

recently replaced water pump and hbv and now only getting cold air coming through have done a thorough coolant flush as described in the maintence guide my question is could it be the new hbv as it wasnt  a vauxhall part and i remember reading that the non vaux hbv are not all that good..or is it just a bad airlock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at the risk of sounding patronising have you checked all the vac hoses to make sure nothing has dislodged or broken/perished?

Make sure you have put the pipe back on top of the HBV, also follow that pipe it should go into the bulkhead. Paintshoptec had this with his car, where the pipe goes through the bulkhead there is a connection pipe apparently, his had come off. :y
