Minimum Brake Disc Depth Measurement
« on: 31 October 2007, 09:56:41 »

Hi All,

Anyone know the correct minimum brake disc depth (front and rear) for a 2003 2.2 DTi Estate Omega?

Brakes seem a little spongy, but have no real way of knowing if the brake discs are below minimum depth. I have a micrometer etc, just need the minimum values....

Cheers for any help.....

check the colour of your brake fluid i am guessing that will need changing if your brakes are spongy.

You will know if your discs are knacked as there will be a massive lip on them
