LPG on 2.2CD Omega
« on: 16 November 2007, 17:01:51 »

Guys

I am wondering how much it would roughly cost me to have an LPG conversion fitted to my 2001 2.2CD Omega?

Its done 115k miles, would it be benefitial to have this done at this mileage?

Cheers

There have been various threads in "general chat" a few of us are at various stages of thinking about / doing the same. I'd say it depends on the mileage you're doing annually and how long you intend to keep the car.

Installs are around the £1k mark but a few of us are going the DIY route which will be around 700, maybe less for the 4 cylinder.

I reckon it'd pay for itself in well under a year for me (3.2 doing 18k P.A.).
