My omega is dead long live my omega(hopefully)
« on: 24 November 2007, 09:07:26 »

Hi all, sorry to report the demise of my 96 3ltr elite as a flat bed truck has taken care of the drivers side bodywork and I don't think it's worth repairing (180000 and mot about out)However I've aquired a 99 2.5CDX on the cheap, lovely car in and out but a couple of problems to sort:
1/ abs as per "heavy stearing" posted 19/11 so should be able to sort that :-/ this wasn't immediately spotted as the previous owner had disabled the abs/tc warning lights which also seems to have knocked out the instrument lights (speedo and tacho only).
any ideas how to get them back on?
2/ drivers door check bar seems to be loose in the door allowing the door to open too wide is this easy to fix?
3/ which bits should I nick from the elite to use on the cdx before getting shut i.e rear blind

Hope this isn't too long for my first request for help ;)
