Heating Problem solved.....at last..
« on: 16 December 2007, 16:16:37 »

Well as per my ealier post.....I drained the cooling system....blasted water through from the header tank  THEN blasted water through both pipes coming from the auxillary pump, straight back up the pipes with the heater flaps wide open and after an hour all sort. Heck knows what was blocing it...but air flow in to the car is hot again......and about bloody time too...

Interesting, I think I have just enabled flow through my heater matrix. Was fairly sure it was airlocked, tried the official filling method through the pipe removed from the heater.
Looking at the system again, the HBV is the highest point, filled with its top pipe disconnected and so far so good.
Strange thinks these heaters.
