Cooling Level indicator? - Help
« on: 18 December 2007, 20:03:40 »

;D Hi Everyone, just bought an 03 plate Vauxhall omega elite (wanted one for ever), everytime I Start and Stop the ignition the display pops up with a coolent level message (but I have checked the coolent level and it is fine), is there a sensor or something I need to clean?

AFAIR they are sealed but have a float, so if cleaning fails start at the scrappies

You'd be better off buying a new one. AFAIR they're about £30

mine gave the same warning last week, i disconnected the connector at the bottom of the tank and shorted it two pins to cancel the cooling level warning.

But get a tank asap, its a v important sensor.
