M.O.T. Failure (only joking)
« on: 10 January 2008, 15:41:19 »

Hi all, just taken my Mig for its anual check up (scarey stuff). Usual worries, brakes ,suspension, steering, exhaust gases etc...
I was just sitting reading a very old magazine when he came in with a serious face to tell me it had failed its M.O.T..
I thought here we go, how many hundreds of pounds is this going to cost me?
When he saw the look on my face he suddenly burst out laughing. >:(
Anyway, when he'd calmed down, he told me my Mig failed because one of the rear indicator bulbs was a bit (White) some of the yellow laquer was flaking off. Had a couple of spares in the boot.
So One bulb and a retest later she passed. :D
They've got a good sense of humour at formula 1 (Bastards)
Here's to another years driving  :y :y

I hope they didnt charge you for the retest - where I take my cars for MOTs they do a pre-check and change/replace any bulbs and such and do headlamp alignment before starting all at no charge (apart from a few pence for any bulbs)
