Hi all ... new member today!!! I wonder if anyone can help out there.... I have a T reg 2.5 V6 and the heater is blowing out cold or luke warm air .... this has caused all sorts of earache as my good lady has been using the car recently... any advice would be gratefully received...

check the vac layout in engine (see tech info section for layouts) as a starter

Flush, Flush and then Flush again....In other words run 6 ton of water through the cooling system with the heater knobs on full and ignition on to ensure a good flush.

If possible blast water through the matrix in BOTH directions...suspect you've either got air or sludge blokeage...Worked for me perfectly on a couple of weeks back...

I second this heartily, in my circumstances it seems someone has filled my system with radweld or some other such gunk, even the drain tap on the rad was blocked. After 2 flushes, the heater matrix blows warm, i suspect after after de-gunking it will all be back to the way it should be.
