replaced wishbone and droplink and now abs and tc
« on: 21 January 2008, 14:13:35 »

hi all   a mate changed my driverside wishbone and droplink and ever since i have no speedo abs and tc lights are now on, ive read all the info on this site regarding this fault, my question is  if the sensor on the driverside front wheel or the cable was damaged would it cause this  as from reading up the speedo works off the rear sensors

thanks in advance   adam

There is no sensor on the driveres side wishbone.
It may just be coincidence.
If you have no speedo and tc/abs lights then its more than likely to be the ABS ECU has given up, a fairly common problem on these i am afraid.

There is an ABS sensor on all wheels, though, and given that this problem occurred when that area has been disturbed I think a faulty sensor / connection to a sensor is likely.

Double check the sensor wiring for damage and security of any conenctors. If nothing's obvious a Tech 2 session to check for trouble codes might be worthwhile.
