Assuming you got right dash, it points towards the ABS ECU

Did it come from same year as yours as well (they changed around mid 97, and again in 2000, and they are not compatible with each other).  If so, I'd say the ABS ECU, but then I'm sure I said that on a earlier thread...

ABS ECU kaput!!
Had the same problem - used a 2nd hand ecu - from same car, year & model - see http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1194380670/6#6

Absolute pig to fit - only need to remove top hose, move fuse box towards front and then patience + right tools!!
Even managed to refit 5 out of 6 screws - bottom right (looking from front) is an rsol to remove & even worse to refit so left it out.
Car OK since done - all working ok.
Hope this helps - if u need any info PM me.

Thought you needed tech2 to bleed abs unit.  Is that so?

You do if you get air bubbles trapped in it... Absolute pig to get them out, need Tech II to run the modulator while pressure bleeding the system.

Couldn't it be something as simple as one of the connections to the sensors come loose. I had this once (not with an Omega, it was actuallt a rover...cough ah hum) and after checking the wiring from the ABS unit we found nothing was going to the offside rear so we pulled the boot lining out to reveal a yellow plug that somehow had become disconnected.

I'm new and its just a thought

Only if you get air in the unit :)
