I assume the plugs are all fitted and torqued down correctly....

Can you measure the resistance of the plug leads, they should be from about 2K to 10K dependent on length.

The natural order of my Ying and Yang has been restored, I have found out what the problem was with the misfire.  

After checking over what I had done yesterday, I came to the conclusion that the problem lay with a duff plug lead. So decided to check each to see if I could isolate the sucker.  

Out came the wiper assembly, so I could get a better look at the dis pack ( fat chance, it's like the black hole of Calcuter down there!!  ;D)

Had to do it by feel, and I found that no6 lead was not connected to the dis pack.  Strange as I had gone nowhere near it before, could it be that simple, erm, yes, purrs like a kiten now.  Must have dislodged it whilst working on that bank.

Any hoo, all is now well  :) :) :)
