ABS unit with/wothout traction control
« on: 29 February 2008, 19:48:30 »

Hi Guys

Whilst changing bulbs in my heater controls on my 2.0 cdx 1996 I came across the connector for the tc switch taped up beside the stereo, I connected the switch from one of my v6 and it lights up, wondering since i have a spare ABS unit with traction control, If I change it over will it give me use of this function on the 2.0 16v?

Im only considering doing it as my driveway is made of loose gravell and wheel spin is easily achived.

cheers
 ;)

I'm not sure if the software exists in the engine ECU, or if the wiring exists to the engine ECU.
