Hi guys,
              Could I pick someones brain by asking if you can confirm which model I own. I am a bit confused by this facelift & mini-facelift thing.

My "Meega"  is an "S" plate  first registered on 15.01.1999.

3.0 Elite Auto  leather trim, Bose sound, Sat Nav etc, etc,etc.

Which model do I have. Any help greatly appriciated.

If it has steering wheel controls for the radio, solid headrests, airbags in the side of the seats then its a mini-facelift

Probably mini facelift, if the front grille stays in place when you open the bonnet. More rounded lines and rubbing strips not body colour.

Facelift has body coloured bumpers and mouldings.

Sounds mini facelift - it is if the LAST letter of VIN is W or X

so mine's a mini facelift aswell then

i thought all 98R on's were mini-facelift (most obvious change is 'projector' headlights) and then facelift is very very obvious

No, there are some 'old stock' R's that are pre.  They were 97MY though

Omega Pre-facelift - 1994 - 1997.5

Omega Mini-facelift - 1997.5 - 1999

1999 onwards (V Reg) onwards is facelift, although there are a mixture of facelift and mini-facelifts on W plates.
