Brake advice needed
« on: 16 March 2008, 18:03:22 »

Doing the brakes next weekend.
2 questions though

How easy is the handbrake cable to change?

Is it worth investing in the rear shoes fitting kits on ebay

Don't think it is worth fitting genuine handbrake shoes, I paid £15 for mine to give you an idea of price. :y

If you are replacing the handbrake shoes as well, then the cable is fairly easy to do. It is worth getting the fitting kit but I'm sure you will find its cheaper from a local carparts dealer.
