On my 1998 v6 cdx I have a leaky air conditioning service valve on the front pipe between the compressor and de-humidifier, just behind the radiator. I have had the system de-gassed so that the leaky valve can be changed.
The valve is not of the normal Schrader type as there appears to be no way of removing the valve core using a valve tool. The connector and valve is mounted on to the pipe on a ‘T’ union which has a 17 mm nut. I have tried to undo this nut but it refuses to budge. I am worried that if I apply any more torque I will damage the pipe. Does anyone know if this is a serviceable valve or does the whole pipe and de-humidifier have to be changed?

Get a 2nd hand pipe as its probably easier to replace the pipe assy. :-/

According to Vauxhall it can but needs a special tool. Low pressure can be done charged. High pressure, which  I think yours is, only when discharged.
