hi all,

doing my oil cooler, this flex pipe next to oil filter housing looks a bit 'squished'...  ::) can anyone tell me what it is?

Thats your crankshaft sensor, the metal outer pipe is to protect the wire from heat.

ah ok, so is it just a sensor cable running inside, i dont need to worry that it is squished? i wondered if it was stifling some kind of fluid flow at first...
