Odd shape bolts everywhere

Now I know this sounds thick, I am in the process of changing my wishbones and have come acroos an odd shaped bolt head, I looked further and the engine bay is covered in them, they are star shaped on the end, but the opposite way to what I have been used to seeing in the fact the star shape is on the outside edge, does anyone know where a reasonably priced set of sockets/spanners can be sorced in this style and what the correct name is for the style?, I need them as on the N/S wishbone part of the self leveling sensor for the headlamps is attached via one of these little blighters...

any input greatfully recieved..

They are torx bolts, pretty standard as a major fixing type for the last 10+Years.

These from Machine Mart aren't bad. Halfords do some too, but the range of sizes is limited & the shoulder on some of the smaller sizes fouls,

Check out flebay - you want torx sockets - you will get them cheaper :y

my local car spairs shop sell a set of draper torx sockets for £8, they are good enough for the simple diy mechy

I bought a small set, cost me £27 plus another £11 for some socket reducers
