sealing compound

I have just been to my local vauxhall dealer to get some sealing compound to seal my cam cover gasket when i replace it thay tell me the black compound is now gray have i got the right stuff part no 93165267.
after reading the safety cautions i will wear rubber gloves. It comes in a tube that goes in a gun like decorators caulk.

That sounds like the sealant for the oilcooler cover

Like Pete says that is definately the part number for Oil Cooler Plate Sealer...

Hmm, I used grey stuff from VX a while back...... think I might have been  done. Has sealed the rockers tho lol

Mine was black and came in small toothpaste size tube inside a box not a mastic gun size tube - THATS BIG!. :y
