Odd fan problem.
« on: 08 May 2008, 22:49:09 »

This I feel is a little odd...so I thought I'd ask the experts amoung us.
EVERYTHING seems to work just fine in my 2.5CD BUT....when the fan is going, as in the fan in the car, blowing in heat, cold or Air Con..ever so often, it stops for about 5 seconds and then starts right back up again..Any ideas please.

It has NOT got Climate Control.

Don't know if it's related, but when i have my air-con on full it tends to slow down a lot when i accelerate hard.

I have assumed that the computer knows to channel horsepower to the wheels rather than the compressor, when under load.

I'll monitor that to see..although in fairness I'm generally not heavy on the pedal...it just seems to die, certainly radically slow done for a few seconds then it picks up again...odd.

Glad I'm not alone on this...in fairness, mine does it whether the air con is on, or not....just slows to a crawl all of a sudden then picks back up again....Spooky ??
