VX STEALERS at it again!

Good news is that my 1 pot that went down yesterday is indeed the HT lead.  :y :y
Bad news is  >:( >:(rang VX asked if they are available individually or only by the set.
Spares operative asked which cylinder it is ,I said No. 2 front nearside.

"Sorry No,s 2 -4 -6 are not available individually but cylinders 1-3-5 are". I really thought he was having a laugh - but no he was serious :-? :-?
I thought i could use one of those of roughly the same length as the broken down one. When I suggested this the Guy said " Oh no sorry, my mistake they are only available in the full set. Also they are not a stock item and will take until Tuesday to get.

It gets worse >:( >:(  price they quoted £107.75   + vat

It seems this motor is  nowbecoming a bit expensive to keep going.

Anyway rang my local motor factor he said there should not be a problem matching one up he has many different types in stock and all can be brought individually!

Just wanna ask you guys out there are these HT leads a special type or something.

Other route is the jolly old breakers I reckon

Any feedback greatly appriciated - Thanks Guys and Gals

Regards, Big Al :y :y :y

At my local Factors, Bosch or similar, £40 - £50 per set. I have had no problems with them.

I am sure there are members on here that could help you out.

I remember a post the other showing a sump full of engine parts, so if a complete engine is being sought there might be there of an engine being stripped for parts.  Hoping of course its the same one as you are looking for parts for.

Tis just a thought.   :y :y
