diff clicking noise sorted
« on: 02 June 2008, 17:22:08 »

hiya,, just sharing my troubles with you all ,,never know may help someone.
there was a clicking noise underneath my omega that increased with the road speed,, traced it down to the diff,  bought second hand one and replaced it,, kept one of my drive shafts and had replace one as it was stuck inside the dif,,, not striped the unit down yet but prob thnk it must be something to do with not being able to remove the shaft.
the origanal unit was full of oil so bit of a mistery,,, at first thought it may be a stone in the tyre then maybe something on the brakes , maybe the gearbox ,maybe the CV joints,,, etc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
 hope this helps.
anybody else had trouble with the diff?
 cheers, paul
