Is this within the injection pump?

YEPis changeable witout removing pump but i havent actually done one!! do kow that chipping the car cures the fault which is common throughout the rangerover and omega range tho!!

I'll bow to your superior knowledge, but I thought fuel temp sensor was in filter?

I thought that this was a fuel-heater unit, are you sure of this?

according to the rangerover boys its the one in the pump that gives trouble  but as said havent done one cos the chip solves the problem but i havent told them that!!!! :y and as he poured water over the pump and it started immediately would think its the temp sensor in the pump giving problem?

Yep, this is exactly what my fuel-injection friends tell me too !
Anyway, the tractor is presently in their 'shop undergoing a pump-change.
There's my six-monthly bonus payment gone ...... ah well, the missus loves the car - and so do I really !
Will let you all know when I get the car back - fingers crossed fellas !
