LPG kits
« on: 26 June 2008, 15:40:27 »

I have been looking into LGP conversion kits. The cost for my mig is approximetly £700 and can be fitted by a reasonably mechanicaly minded person fuel costs are reduced by 40% I assume you would have to change the  the fuel type on the documentation does anyone know if this reduces the road fund Licence  and does the car run as well I have been told it runs better.
I have been told I will need multi point injection will single point work. I would be interested on your opinions. thanks

should run completely the same, i got 8 seconds to 60mph on gas now mine's running perfectly, get a multipoint kit for a V6!

my tax went down from £205 to £195, you need to register your car as petrol/LPG, when you send the V5 to the dvla for this, they'll automatically send you a new tax disc with the price difference on it (but they didnt refund me the bloody tenner!) and you send your old one back

i assume yours is pre-2001? tax wont be affected that much when the big charges come in next march
