coil pack failing?

can anyone tell me the symptoms of a coil pack failing,mate of mine has a 3.0 estate,fitted new plugs and leads,but still missing,seems to have no spark at No4 plug.

Sounds probable, best thing is to take it off and inspectit.  Any signs of rust ( and I mean any) means the pack is suspect.  Replacement not too much on TC or speak to Marky Mark he usually has a few knocking around and he helped me out in a bind once, one top fella!  :y
