AARGGHH no! - little green bits on heater hoses??
« on: 02 September 2008, 19:51:40 »

AAARRGHHH - was just reconnecting my heater matrix hoses after a good flushing and one of the little green plastic bits popped off and dissapeared into the engine bay.  It's hiding under the steering box somewhere but I'll be bu**ered if I can reach it from any angle.  Few sockets hidin in me engine bay in similar places to, incidentally.

Anyway - anyone know if they're really needed?  Reason I ask is i dont see what they're for anyway and they are not present on Matchless' photos on his removing the heater hoses how2.

break.  Might blast an airline down there and see if anything falls out in the meantime...

Cheers,

Liam

You dont need them. They are used on new hoses to protect the seals and help with fitting in the factory.
