If you ain't done one before mate and you haven't watched anyone either, I would suggest getting the V6 Cambelt DVD which I am sure is for sale in the OOF Shop.. :y

As above and watch DVD a few times.  You need a locking kit + 30mm cranked spanner (buy off ebay, hire or loan) + selection of kit incl torx bits & sockets + allen keys.

As for being a bit slow - work faster ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Good Luck

Being a 2.6/3.2 it may differ from the DVD a little as later set ups have just one adjustable roller and not the two seen on the older engine of the DVD.   :y

..... cos they'll be clued up on your car ..... won't they?! :-/
When I first got my car I asked a couple of garages about misfires (crank sensor) As soon as they learned it was a V6, they diidn't want to know. 'Too complicated' one of 'em said! :-?

Not a difficult job if you've got the right gear and follow the "instructions" (ie DVD).  If you've done a cambelt on a 4 pot there's no reason you can't do a 6 pot.  Just need to work through it methodically.

Same here Andy the garage nearby says " 4x4 repairs done here "!!they worked on my 2.0ltr but when I got the v6 all they would do is the MOT wont touch it ! :P
