Electronic aircon fault ?
« on: 10 September 2008, 15:40:55 »

Hello

I recently bought a 2.0 litre 16v gls auto, it has done 120 k, with full service history. when i got the car the electronic air conditioning was working correctly, i tried to use the cigarette lighter in the dash and it seemed to blow a fuse but then the aircon started working again.

but now has totally stopped working with the heat jammed on full hot at my feet.  The fuse box does not seem to hold the fuses very well they feel loose in the box.

has anyone had this problem if so any suggestions.

Cheers thomas

GLS with Climate?  :-?

Do your heater controls have +/- buttons, or a rotary dial?

The controls on my unit are rotary dials.
