Need help with the Phillips radio
« on: 19 September 2008, 11:03:23 »

Hello, I have just bought an Omega 2.6 V6 Elegance but the radio is blocked. I have several codes (security code, radio security code...) but I don't know which is the correct code and how to insert it, I guess it uses the phone pad but I don't know how. Could anybody help me please? Thanks a lot. Jandro.

Ok, sounds like the CCR2006 (assuming it does not have a telephone function and radio preset buttons stop at 6).

Here are the instructions:

Switch on the vehicle ignition

Switch off the set (press the volume control knob)

Press the AS button and keep it pressed

Switch on the radio whilst keeping the AS button pressed until you hear a confirmation beep.

The display will show 'CODE' and after 3 seconds the number of remaing attempts for code number entry is shown e.g. '10 - - - -'

Enter the RADIO CODE number from the car pass by pressing the preset control 1, 2, 3 and 4

Example

If the code is 0 3 6 5

Preset Controls   Display
1x control 10 - - -
4x control 10 3 - -
7x control 10 3 6 -
6x control 10 3 6 5

Check the displayed code number is the same as that on the car pass

Press the AS button until you hear the confirmation beep again

Yes, I'm not from UK, but I love your country, thanks for the help.
I have the telephone set, so i guess i would use it to enter the code instead of that system:

1x control 1  0 - - -
4x control 1  0 3 - -
7x control 1  0 3 6 -
6x control 1  0 3 6 5

and then keep pressed the AS button until the beep.

Heres the manual

http://images.omegaowners.com/documents/audio/ccrt2008_2002.pdf

Entry is the same but you can now enter the code directly from the keypad and you confirm code entry by pressing the multifunction contol, see page 55 of the above for detailed instructions
