Is there a photo of the brake bleed nipple on this forum?Can you get to it with the wheel on?

Photo? Doubt it. ;) The front wheel's bleed nipple is probably accessable if you put full lock on, but for the amount of time it takes to jack up the car & remove the wheel ........ besides it'll give you more room to see what you're doing, especially if you're going to clamp the flexi brake hoses. :y

How much brake fluid do you need to renew the old stuff?

I normally buy a nice fresh litre and know that I'm going to have quite a bit left over for top ups if required....

There again, I try to have a wee bit more than actually needed, rather than a bit less than reallt reallt required to finish the job on a sunday afternoon, if you follow...   ;)

Brake fluid is very cheap from a dealers on TC too, as I found out the other day. :y

likely cause of soft brakes long pedal on the omega is often rear pads siezed in caliper and or siezed caliper piston.............
