At the back of the unit inside. You would need to dismantle the headlamp to get to it, you remove the lens very carefully.

If anybody has a broken one (with all the bits) I am after one to take some measurements off and see what I can do about fabricating a better solution.

If you want to borrow my spare projectors (think adjusters are in tact), let me know...  ...and while you have the lenses off, if you want to clean them as well  :P

No probs.

I don't mind doing the cleaning, its the lens removal that scares me  :-[

If you remove the black rubber cover that covers the big hole in the back of the unit...you can see the black plastic adjuster inside...can also see if its broke or not (although the rattling unit pretty much gives away if it is lol)

  Hi Chris,
Are the adjusters the same on the earlier light units as they are on the Projector type as the bit you mention above is missing on my Projector and so is the longer of the 2 adjusters on the outside :(.

So my  :question is can i just replace the older one into the newer one?
            Thanks,
                       Pete :y.

the older ones are white and a different shape (new black ones fit into groove but very brittle)

But you CAN replace new with old - i know coz the 2 projectors i bought from e-gay both had broken adjusters so i stripped down my old headlamps to make 2 good from 4 bad :y
