Fitting headlight washers (facelift)
« on: 23 September 2008, 20:01:05 »

Anyone done this?

From what i can see, i need...

Relay in the engine bay fuse box?
Extra washer bottle pump
The loom is already there on the washer bottle, does the bottle itself already ok to fit the additional pump, or do i need a replacement?

I need the jets to be mounted into the front bumper, looking at my mums there are the colour coded plastic parts in front of the jets, do these come with the jets when ordered?

How are the jets fitted to the bumper? Looks like i need to drill a hole for the pump nozzles to be poked through, but how is the pump secured to the bumper?

Guess i need some pipe work too, run the water to the jets.

I assume the facelift is as the pre-facelift in that they have different sized washer bottles bewteen those with & without headlamp washers. The headlamp washer pump really does shift some water.
