help i got a broken bonnet release cable, how the hell do you open the damm bonnet?

has the cable snapped? if so at what end? or is it the stupid handle puller thingy come adrift.

As said .. if you can get to some part of the cable .. mole grips .. and get someone to sit on the front of the bonet while you pull .. this takes some of the strain off the system.

I had same prob. on '97 CD and used mole grips whilst another repeatedley banged his fist against the bonnet in the middle at the front. Good Luck

 thanks for sugestions. Cable broken at catch end and come out of car completey.what now?
