Coolant Level warning...
« on: 22 October 2008, 19:45:08 »

Replaced the coolant bottle about 8 months ago with a new one, as all it ever did was 'Coolant Level' errors on the display...

new one, fine I thought...  Checked fluids today, and the coolant was bloody near empty :S (only checked it a few days ago)  So... I guess this new bottle from VX has already buggered up on me :(

No other way to check other than a multimeter on the connector and push the float down?

Guess so, could the plunger be stuck in the up position? but where has the coolant leaked from?

Ähm.... white smoke out of the exhaust and coolant level down sounds to me like headgasket gone!  :-/
Check if you have oil in the water and vice versa.
Without an obvious leak and loosing water during "a few days" it must either be that or you had a bubble left in the cooling system.
Would be my guess.
