I did have a go at pulling up the shroud and cover but wasnt sure where or how hard to pull  :-[

A yellow lever to the left(?) of the shift lever.

I didnt get that far ..... i couldn't get the gear lever shroud or black plastic to come out ..... but then i didnt really pull too hard in case i broke something  :-[

They do just pull out  :y, I pull the rear our first.

You sure?  :-/ Maybe it's the Astra that comes out from the rear.  :y
