Dropped Door Question
« on: 06 November 2008, 19:05:20 »

After following MarkDTM's guide on stopping whistling noise, which was very helpfull, I realised that the problem on my passenger side front was actually down to the door itself has dropped, thus making it improperly strike on the striker, which is probably higher than it ought to be to compensate.

Is this a common problem, and if so, is it the door pins themselves wearing out, or perhaps something more?

Most likely the door pins, I had to do them on my Cav long before it died. Easy job but Miggy doors are a lot heavier so do one pin at a time with a good trolley jack under the door.
