hi can anyone tell me the paint code for polar sea blue please. Also is there a how to on wing removal anywhere?  :y

Open your drivers door mate...on a plaque on the back of the sill area there is a bunch of info including the exact colour code Zxxx

should start in 282 apparently so something like 282/13L
(theres a paint code list in technical info sort of page)

I have to do the same, as far as I can see it's:-

Unclip arch liner, Unbolt along top of wing (where bonnet shuts), front bumper off, remove bolts that are exposed from behind bumper, open door and remove bolts exposed, remove sill cover and remove bolt exposed.

For earlier models Alex its on a plaque in the engine bay and is as you say 13L etc but on the later models its superceded by Zxxx codes as they started bringing out Star Silver 1/2/3 etc which have the same L code but different Zxxx codes...

Vx are hi-tech now.  All they need is your car reg no and a PC.

I ordered one yesterday and they guessed correct st Star Silver 3  :)

i noticed they seemed a bit more brainier last time i was in vx parts dept!

halfrauds misadvertised that about matching paint colours based on registration!
i asked a mate who works there!

tbh i cant remember what it actually said for the paint code on my smok grey one- i looked on the bonnet one infront of the rad

cant find the diamond black paint code chart :(

Thanks for advice guys. There is a wing on ebay (as i need one after some t11rd drove into mine then scarpered) and cant really tell what shade of blue it is. The paint code will help  ::) :y
