exhaust help please

ello my o2 2.2 exhaust is blowing from the wire cover in front of the cat converter looks to me the weld has come away all the way around just were the cat joins what will i need to do to put it right cheers ajn

The recommended would be to either get it re-welded or purchase a suitably sized flexi joint (ebay) and clamp it in its place.

Is the cat the same on the 2.2 as the 2.0 pre facelifts?

thanks for the replys ive phoned a few places but they need the size ie bore and length with i havent a clue :-/

update ive been on eb*y and sent some photos to the guy selling flexi joints and he says looks like i  need a 55mm or 60mm and 100mm length weld on flexi joint does any one know for sure    ajn

You need to measuer the diameter of your exhaust.

I would go for clamp on if you can!

sorry for any confussion marksdtm but the eb*y guy seems to think only a weld on will fit, do anyone no if theres other members who have had this prob solved - at the moment a noisy ajn  ;D

update ive had a local stainless steel exhaust place cut and weld a new stainless steel pipe and new flexi joint excellent job  :y
