  i see that on these 20ltrs ecotec we all have a problem with the studs snapped in manifold so have a look below and see what u think
   could save some money and alot of time  :y



hi guys i have not tried this yet ?

  anyway i have been talking to a man who works for vauxhall and he said that the snapped studs are very common .

he advised me to try get a nut on the side of the head where the stud was and weld thebhole in the nut full so it bonds with the broken stud then turn the nut and it should start to un do , might need a few attempts
     he told me this after i had taken the head of mine to drill them out  
hope this helps in any way  

   like i say i have not tryed this yet !!!!

thought there was enough room to get a stud extractor in on 4 pots without removing head?

  still looked tight to  get that stud extractor in line and be able to extract it right without  going of line !!
  might be worth a try on a tester  first  :y
