For an annoying dribble, has anyone tried Blue Magic cargo head/Block sealer? Is it any good. Whilst i understand its not the best way to go, i dont have the money to attempt a head gasket replacement just yet (its a water leak not a combustion leak)

Bars leak is awesome stuff... Much better than radweld

I used some of this type stuff when I had a Head Gasket go, but it didn't cure it. I ended up doing the head gasket.  
I would advise curing the problem mate, not this stuff

K Seal is the stuff I used could bloody remember what it was called until I just saw your post James.

That was the stuff that was put in my tractor by the previous owner's garage.  Didn't cure the problem.

Yes,
Mark Rebuilt the cooling system, he knew it was fully clean.
Radweld has been holding the coreplug leak for 18 months or so now, no problems.

I am going to do the HG, just wanted to buy a bit of time.
I presume it is the HG, water is dribbling below where the manifold bolts on, looks like a shelf edge where it leaks from. It is only a water leak, theres no compression loss.
I'll try the K-Seal after crimbo

Bars sorted my old 99 cdx leak, did hbv and all the v work and it still needed topping up once a month. I'd had enough by then and poured a bottle in. Sorted it for 16 months til i sold it.

I guess there is only one way to find out if it works on your car or not...?

The only thing i know and semi-trust is K Seal... At lest it's more friendly to the waterways!

I did look at this when looking for other information recently about the rover HG I'm doing... Seems to have good reviews but I'm not convnced :-? :-? :-/ :-/

Friend of mine has a volvo...

His radiator blew a leak when we left engine running for 30 mins outside his house  

It was so bad, that the entire coolant system was empty within 3-4 minuets!

Anyways, cut a long story short... He bought some radweld... Poured it in, and god knows how - it sealed the leak!

As far as I know, hes still got that same radiator fitted! and the leak started begging of last summer!
